Heat mixture over a low flame. Stir frequently to warm the mixture throughout. For highest health benefit, do not boil the mixture.
Variations: Stir in a raw egg for protein. (This works best if your mixture is not so hot that it cooks the egg instantly). Stir in a healthy oil, such as coconut, hemp, or macadamia. Stir in a tablespoon of high-quality protein powder (again, this works best if the mixture is just barely warm). Also, you can remove the raisins and honey if you want to make it less sweet.
